Our vision is to  empower  woman in transitions  on their self discovery journey  to find love, self-love  and joy by reconnecting with their mind body and spirit; looking inwards for some parts of the day we touch what is most real and reliable in ourselves and most easily overlooked and underdeveloped.

The Happy Guide is a private practice in New York City that serves women who want to overcome  negative patterns  by focusing on prevention and embracing a healthy life style.

When we can be centered in ourselves, without having to look elsewhere for something to fill us up or make us happy we can be at home wherever we find ourselves geographically and at peace with things as they are, moment by moment.

The Beginnings

The happy guide  idea was born to guide clients on various paths of theirs lives to learning to love themselves and  love their body. 

The Happy Guide is a mind and  body practice that empowers clients to adopt healthier life styles and live their lives  without shame, guilt or fear and to be happy.  

We offer 101 sessions, seminars, classes and workshops in the community, in person and online.

Lavinia is a fully Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor and a practitioner of many sports.  Lavinia incorporates mindfulness and life coaching skills in her practice to instill both a healthy mind and a healthy body. 

Lavinia has been  an advocate for physical activity as an important and essential part of mental and psychological well-being. Therefore her approach integrates  Pilates and Yoga exercises and mindfulness techniques. This combination of therapeutic expertise, life skills, and physical exercises like  Pilates and yoga, enables her to help clients understand their lives from a mind and body perspective. 

Additionally,  Lavinia is a Licensed Clinician  (LCSW) with a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work and a Coaching Diploma from New York University.

Lavinia believes in the individual’s ability to recover from mental and environmental adversities and specializes in anxiety and trauma recovery, integrating mind and body techniques that allow clients to make meaning of their experiences and to move forward  to a state of fulfillment and joy.

Lavinia has successfully worked with clients from many walks of lives who struggled with depression,  stress and anxiety, trauma, shame, grief, self-esteem and  co-dependency.
